Children Sing Out
At Opera House
The local chorus of children and teens will perform An
Evening With A Joyful Noise
 at the Earlville Opera House
on Friday, May 23 at 7p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and
$3 for children.

Celebrating its third season, “A Joyful Noise” is directed
by Alyssa Volker and accompanied by Rosemary Jaytanie. A
Joyful Noise will perform a selection of classical treble
repertoire for children.

Featured in the choral performance are: Marissa Doing,
Sofeia Eddy, Jonna Evans, Julia Evans, Malory Evans, Megan
Evans, Victoria Franklin, Eddie Geier, Kayla Geier, Marissa
Geier, Evie Hammer-Lester, Francesca Magro, Haley Muth,
Patrick Parker, Victoria Robertson and Bradley Ward.

Founder and director Alyssa Volker has an extensive
background working with children's choirs. She spent 10
years as a chorister in the highly-acclaimed "Treble Chorus
of New England" before going on to earn a bachelor's
degree in voice performance and music education at Ithaca
College, and a master’s in voice performance from the
University of Illinois.

She is a vocal instructor at Colgate.
