Weeks Wins All-State Honors

For the second year in a row, HCS' Katie Weeks won girls basketball all-state honors. She was named to the second team as chosen by state sportswriters and coaches. Last year she was named to the fourth team. Weeks led the HCS girls to the Section III Class D finals at the Carrier Dome this season.

Girls Basketball Team Holds Fundraising Dinner

The HCS girls basketball team will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner FRIDAY from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. before a game against Madison. Prices are $7 adults and $4 12 and under. The dinner was changed because of the game's postponement.

HCS is closed by inclement winter weather for the second straight day, but the girls basketball team will be playing its Section III Class D finals game tonight at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Assistant Principal and Athletic Director William Dowsland this morning confirmed that HCS' game vs. Oriskany will be played as planned at 6 p.m. Admission is $8 per person plus parking.

If you are going to see the HCS girls play in the Section III Class D finals in the Dome Thursday @ 6 p.m., you can buy advance sale tickets for $7 (instead of $8 at the door and save hassle of standing inlines). Tickets will be available Monday through Wednesday in the HCS main office with Jill King. Cash only accepted. Go Knights!
