Miller and Lura Win Trustee Race; Bogan Unseats Fisher as Village Justice

Incumbent Margaret Miller and Russ Lura were elected to the village board Tuesday and Tom Bogan was elected village justice.

The vote totals for the trustees race were:

Russ Lura 226;
Margaret Miller 222;
Deborah Sill Kliman 198;
Jay Whipple 154.

For village justice the totals were:

Thomas Bogan 223;
Arnold Fisher 184.

These remain unofficial results until the Board of Elections certifies them.

The results posted at the county Board of Elections are: For Justice: Thomas Bogan 243, Arnold Fisher 201 For Trustee: Lura 246, Miller 239, Kliman 216, Whipple 169 This does not change the results, but it does even more strongly indicate what a good turn out the village had for this election. Most villages in the region had only a handful of voters turn out.
