Swank to Move ... Again

The building at 2 Broad Street will be mostly empty when Adventure Bikes & Boards migrates out of the village to the former Hamilton Lumber building on Rte. 12B North.

But not for long.

Swank, which moved from one end of the laundromat building at Maple and Lebanon Street to the other end early last December, is moving one again. Owner Erika Perez, Sunday said the shop is relocating to what has to be considered one of the prime retail spots in the village.

She expects the new new location to be open May 1.

Since opening several years ago, Swank has featured a large display outside the stores of lawn and garden items. Perez said those will be situated inside at the new location. The current store in the former Morrisville Dry Cleaners has 1,100 square feet and 2 Broad Street whas 1,800, she said. This will allow the outdoor items to come inside.

2 Broad Street is owned by the Hamilton Initiative.
