Meet The Candidates for Tuesday's Village Election

Village residents go to the polls Tuesday to elect a village justice and two members of the board of trustees. We asked the trustees to introduce themselves and also state their views on several issues.

From noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, registered voters in the village have the opportunity to go the polls to elect two members of the board of trustees and the village justice. Votes will be cast at the Hamilton Public Library in the community room.

Meet the candidates and read their responses to key issues facing the village.

Running for town justice:

  • Tom Bogan Democrat & Community)
  • Arnold Fisher* (Republican)

Running for the two open trustees' seats:

  • Russ Lura (Democrat & Community)
  • Margaret Miller* (Republican)
  • Deborah Sill Kliman (Democrat & Community)
  • Jay Whipple (Republican)

The open seats on the board are those of Miller and Carl Albrecht, a Republican, who decided not to run.

* Indicates incumbent.
