Isto Launches NewCD

Christopher White, a.k.a Isto The Lumberjack, debuts his latest album Saturday night with a CD launch party at the Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn.

This is the 10th album of original music by the Hamilton native, who brought down the house at the commencement ceremonies of the HCS Class of 2009. He now teaches guitar and performs in New York City.

His new CD is titled, "Let's Get Friendly". White said the title and subject of one of the tracks, "Let's Build a Sandcastle to the Moon",  are an extension of one of the lines from the commencement speech he delivered last June.

Mark your calendar or be forwarned that Isto is coming home. White is playing the Barge on April, 3 at 8 p.m. along with Feral Foster and Stephanie Nilles.
