Into The Woods Cast Members Honored

Several cast members and adults involved in the production of the HCS Masquers' performances of the musical Into The Woods were recognized for their works. 

The Theater Association of New York State -- an organization that includes high school, college and community theater groups  -- recognizes performances and technical works. An adjudicator attended the show and gave out Roving Adjudicator Merit Awards.  

There are three categories of awards, outstanding, excellence and meritorious achievement.  

And the winners are:  

+ Outstanding Scenic Design to Melissa Davies and Kate Kraynak;

+ Excellence in Direction to Donna Moren;

+ Excellence in Musical Performance to Jon Rossi, Pit Orchestra Director;

+ Meritorious Achievement in Acting to Alana Graber as the Witch;

+ Meritorious Achievement in  Acting to Dana Bowers as Cinderella;

+ Meritorious Achievement in Ensemble Acting to Phil Douchinsky as Rapunzel's Prince and to Dan Meeks as Cinderella's Prince;

+ and Meritorious Achievement in Special Effects to Kathy Dinardo, percussion.
