In Support of Debbie Kliman

Mon, Jun 06, 2011

There’s no one more qualified in the upcoming Village of Hamilton Trustee elections than Debbie Kliman. Because of her involvement in so many aspects of Village life and her regular attendance at the Village and Town Board meetings, no one in this election can match her for knowledge of the issues before us or enthusiasm for heartfelt public service.

Debbie is Treasurer of Mid-York Senior Homes (Madison Lane apartments), Secretary of the Southern Madison Heritage Trust, and Vice-President of the Life Learn Learning Steering Committee.  She serves on the Historical Commission, the Zoning Revision Commission, the Village’s Lee Brown Coye Mural Commission, and the Syracuse Symphony Committee.

Everyone who knows her knows what a tireless volunteer she is and recognizes the depth and breath of knowledge and thoughtfulness that she will bring to the Village Board.  She is an independent thinker: although she is a Democrat, she has chosen to run as an independent without party support believing sincerely that decisions about governance at the Village level transcend politics.

The Board is losing three very dedicated and knowledgeable members; we need someone with knowledge of Village government, strong public service, and a commitment to good governance.  Debbie Kliman is that person.  I encourage you to support her on election day.
