Hospital Names Top Nurse, Employee

David W. Felton, president & CEO at Community Memorial Hospital, announced the winners of this year's Outstanding Employee of the Year and Nurse of Distinction of the Year award.

Barbara Grisolini (picturd at left), RN, has been named Nurse of Distinction for 2010, and the late John Hubbard (below), CMH's vice president, Community Services is this year's Outstanding Employee.

Grisolini has been employed full time at the hospital since 1992. She was selected by her fellow employees.

Grisolini was one of the first two ambulatory surgery nurses at CMH when the unit opened in the early Nineties. Felton thanked Grisonlini for her many years of service and her attitude and approach which far exceed normal expectations of an employee.

Felton said Hubbard had been affiliated with the hospital in a full or part time capacity for over 30 years. In January of 2005 after retiring from Colgate, Hubbard joined the hospital full time with responsibilities for public relations and development with the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation. Felton said Hubbard'sselectin was unanimous by of the hospital employees.
