Explosive Sixth Inning Gives HCS Tournament Title

The Emerald Knights rallied for eight innings runs in the sixth inning of the second of two games Saturday to once again win the Boosters Club Tournament.

Hamilton beat Brookfield 10-1 in the first game and downed Remsen 17-10 to win the championship.

Jack Sullivan pitched the distance for Hamilton, gicing up a lone run in the sixth and scattering four hits.

Sullivan also went 4-4 at the plate with six RBIs. Dan Meeks and Sam Hale each had two hits for the knights.

Meeks and Sullivan had two doubles each for the Emerald Knights.

Lucas Rhyde picked up the win in the second game for HCS.


Rhyde and Ben Yacavone each had three hits in the win.

Meeks, Sullivan and Kinnon Nolan-Finkle each had doubles for HCS.

Freshman noah fry picked up his first varsity hit in the 1st inning of game one and followed it with another hit in the second.
