Art Walk Planned

MAD Art and the Hamilton Business Alliance are again collaborating with downtown merchants to feature art works throughout the downtown. The event will take place during Colgate’s Family Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 30 from  p.m. to 5 p.m.

Locations featuring local and regional artists will be:

  • Barge Canal Coffee Co., Log Cabin Quilter’s Guild;
  • Colgate Bookstore, art books;
  • Evergreen Gallery, Joyce Halliday Smith, local artist;
  • Hamilton Library, art from Hamilton Center for the Arts’ Children’s Summer Art Camp;
  • Hamilton Post Office, Denise Stillwaggon Leone and Lee Brown Coye paintings;
  • MAD Art Community Art Space, Jim Loveless, local artist;
  • Palace Theater, Personal face painting-a different approach;
  • Picker Art Gallery, Barrie Wentzell, permanent photography collection;
  • Retrospect, Dulcie Miller Clayworks and Donna Coleman lamp shades;
  • Swank, Tim Pryputniewicz, pen and ink;
  • The Little Gallery, Bill Edmonston, contemporary realism;
  • and The Peppermill, Gail Gale, watercolors.
