Library Hosts Marathon Reading of Potter Book

As snow piled up outside, a group of parents, kids and others gathered in the warmth of the Hamilton
Public Library to read along the second Harry Potter book, The Chamber of Secrets, in one continuous
setting. This past Friday, starting late in the afternoon, readers including HCS Superintendent Diana
Bowers, Mayor Sue McVaugh, Library Director Barbara Coger and others took turns reading a chapter.
There were also games, crafts, refreshments and the experience of being read to aloud.
