The East Hamilton United Methodist Church holds its annual clothing giveaway/exchange. Visitors may take their picks of the clothing that is donated.

You can donated your clean unwated clothing by dropping them off at the Country Peddler ot take them to the church Sundays between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

On Saturday, March 13, the Great Lake's Production of Westside High Reunion presents an entertaining evening with the zaniest group of alumni you'll ever meet.

Dine, dance, and be merry as you reunite with "classmates" for this audience-participation dinner theater. The Colgate Inn caters a  buffet which includes the main course, dessert, coffee and tea. A cash bar with wine and beer is available throughout the evening. The ticket prices, $30 for seniors 60+ and $35 for everyone else, includes the show, dinner, dessert, coffee, tax and tip.

Arrive for cocktails at 6pm to mingle with your "classmates". The show and buffet begin at 7pm. Seating is cabaret style, with tables for ten, and may be reserved for a group or shared as you get "reacquainted" with fellow classmates.

The audience is invited (but not required) to come dressed representing the year of your graduation.

The Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima: Some Retrospective Judgments
Dr. Andrew Rotter, Colgate University, Department of History. The atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, was one of the pivotal events in human history.  Debate still rages over key issues. Why was the bomb used?  Was the bombing--and the bombing of Nagasaki, three days later -- necessary to end the war against Japan?  Did the atomic bomb cross a moral threshhold because of its special destructiveness?  This lecture will consider these and other questions, and invite the audience to help answer them.
