The Hamilton Public Library will be offering two Story Times and a Family Game Night during the school break.

Molly, a baby goat, will be our featured guest at our regularly scheduled Story Time at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 22nd. She is about a month old and cute as a button. Goat stories will be shared by both Guest Storyteller Susan Weitz and me.

That same evening, everyone is invited to bring their favorite board or party games to the library for 90 minutes of fun. Bring your friends or neighbors or Cub Scout troop! Light refreshments will be provided. The Community Room will be open for this activity at 6:30 pm.

On Friday, February 25, a Pajama Story Time will be offered for children of all ages. Bring a favorite stuffed toy and quilt and cozy up for some relaxing bedtime stories.

We are also pleased to promote a special program at the library on Wednesday, February 23, 3:30 – 5 pm. Beverly Cholcto-Devlin will give you a quick peek at some sites which will confirm that your Mid-York library card is indeed "the most valuable card in your wallet". Bev is the MYLS Customer & Information Services Manager and Reference and Electronic Resources Consultant. This will be the third in a series of five classes which are being offered by The Lifelong Learning Program at no charge.

Keep your eyes open for more news about the Second Annual Chenango Valley Scribes Writing and Illustrating Contest. Remember to prepare your favorite piece of art work for our Annual Community Art Show in April, too.

The library will be closed Monday, February 21 in observance of Presidents Day. The library will be open regular hours Tuesday-Friday, 10 am – 7 pm, and Saturday, 10 am – 1 pm.

Please call the library, 824-3060, during regular hours for assistance.

The book drop on Broad Street is always open for your convenience. Check the library's Facebook account for up-to-date information about programs and special events.
