Exceptional Art Reception Planned

Please join us in honoring the exceptional artists whose art work is currently on display at Hamilton Public Library. A reception in their honor will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at the library. The public is invited to view the display during regular hours which are now Monday – Friday, 10 am – 7 pm, and Saturday, 10 am -1 pm.

Last week our library had the privilege of competing against Chenango Nursery School in a Family Feud held at the Palace Theater. What fun it was, despite the cold temperatures outside! Competition was fierce and the audience was just as engaged as our teams of five. Both agencies split the profits for the evening, so it was deemed a success in all ways as a fundraiser.

 All indications from Mid-York Library System show that downloadable ebooks are very popular in our library community. Instructions for downloading them can be found at www.midyork.org or if you prefer printed instructions, just stop by the library. We have a supply of documents for both downloadable ebooks and audiobooks on the countertop.

Federal tax forms are arriving daily and all the New York State forms are here. Call the library for phone numbers if you would like to make an appointment with either VITA or the RSVP tax consultants.

 Please call the library, 824-3060, during regular hours for assistance. The book drop on Broad Street is always open for your convenience. Check the library’s Facebook account for up-to-date information about programs and special events.
